Founded in 1987 in Malatya as the first industrial investment of Calik Holding, it started with an investment of $111 million and has grown to a production capacity of 50 million meters annually, covering 407,000 square meters and employing over 2,000 people. The company expanded its operations with a ring spinning facility in 1997 and became fully integrated by adding gabardine and velvet fabrics by 2003.
