CRJ: Innovation, Quality, Sustainability and Social Responsibility: CRJ’s core values Founded in 1982, CRJ Confection Ras Jebel is a Tunisian company based in Ras Jebel and specializing in the manufacture of quality denim and sportswear. Today, it is a major textile company in the Mediterranean basin, working with many international customers. For 40 years, CRJ has been following the evolution of technical and technological innovations CRJ provides high quality products and fast deliveries. Indeed, the company controls the entire process, from the supply of materials to the production of finished products. Thanks to its 4 departments: R&D and Sourcing; Logistics, Purchasing & Control; Cutting & Sewing; Washing, Dyeing & Finishing, spread over the 1,200m² of its factory, CRJ oversees all the following services: Design, development, products, sourcing, purchasing, quality control, cutting, sewing, washing, dyeing, special treatments, finishing, ironing... The high quality of the products is an essential value for CRJ and is the guideline for all these steps. Sustainability and social responsibility are also strong values at CRJ. On the sustainability side, CRJ is constantly innovating to reduce its impact on the environment: - Water management: reducing water consumption in jeans production, waterless dyeing process, wastewater treatment plant, etc. - Energy management: energy savings in production, energy savings in the factory with the use of LED lighting, etc. - Chemical management: reduction in the use of chemicals in the production of blue denim, use of more sustainable dyes, etc. In terms of social responsibility, CRJ ensures a safe and healthy working environment for its employees and has developed several actions to achieve this: - Employee social support: free, healthy meals, first aid and pharmacy services, etc. - Healthy & safe work environment: support for staff in both their professional and private lives (pensions, family support, leisure activities for families, etc.) - Equity, Inclusion & Diversity: inclusive policies for women (70% of the workforce), recruitment processes promoting social mix and parity, recruitment of people with reduced mobility, etc. - Employee training: training proposals to maintain employee skills and develop individual technical skills...
