In our life, we inherited this story, that it’s not our heritage only, but whose roots come from our huge, deep, precious and important tradition.
In the beginning “La Colombina” was born, firstly, as a spinning mill, consequently it has developed, with innovations, more and more, and each step signing the time: the handlooms, the accessories and the knitted goods, exploring various collaborations also with important historical brands in Italian fashion.
Nowadays we want to join our energies to continue and carry on the living of artisan knowledge, a continuous research towards quality made of yarns and design.
The main goal is also to make “culture” and “school”, to anyone who desires to approach to these worlds, finding and opening ways to many collaborations both exploring youngs creativity and with the extraordinary “art world” contribution.

The weaving project comes from the desire to give value to something existing. our story!
Seeing the handlooms, restoring and updating them to “handloom 2.0”, has been the first step together with research and the study of weaves.
We started again with the handlooms, initially weaving classic fabrics, also taken from our historical archive, to reach more innovative weaves/fabrics.
Thanks to the crativity and to the experimentation we put in our fabrics, they are now a constant presence at the fashion shows in Paris.
Our will is to be an alternative, a unique and slow option in the international fashion scene.
