KUMA is a wrapped sewing thread engineered to provide a reliable balance of sewability, mechanical strength, and aesthetic appearance. The core-spun construction combines the high tenacity of the continuous filament core with the more natural look of the staple fiber covering.
These characteristics make KUMA particularly suitable for denim applications, where consistent stitch formation, good abrasion resistance, and an appearance aligned with both contemporary and vintage finishes are required.
Available in a wide range of ticket sizes and colors, it adapts to various denim constructions and garment manufacturing processes. It is also available in a version made with post-consumer recycled raw materials, certifiable according to GRS standards.
