With upcoming EU regulations such as the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, the Digital Product Passport, the ban on the destruction of unsold goods, and the introduction of Extended Producer Responsibility for textiles, brands and manufacturers are entering a new phase: one where circularity becomes a system to be built and managed.
But how does this system actually work today? Where are the gaps? And who is responsible for closing them?
This panel explores the operational implications of these changes – from product design and management to collection, sorting and recycling players – focusing on real challenges: missing infrastructures, cost allocation, data reliability, and leverages for collaboration across the ecosystem. What's really needed to make circularity function at scale.
